Happy New Year's Eve! I'd better do some resolutions although I probably won't accomplish it -_-
1)You guessed it.. LOSE WEIGHT
Ok now that I'm in school, I can have more chances to skip meals wtf. Maybe I'll skip once a week. Or maybe I can eat less carbs. Goal weight is to be 43kg the whole of next year, or even lower!
2) Speak up more and not be so awkward
I can be reaaaally shy in front of strangers thus it's difficult for me to become good friends with someone. In a new class, I hope I can be more talkative so I won't be known as the quiet girl anymore.
3) Be more "tolerating" to choir
As you can see I've been ranting about choir for the past year.. And you also can see that I absolutely can't stand anything about it .__. Like I hate it 100% wtf.
And I'm pretty scared about next year because the dreaded SYF is coming (fml fml fml)
OH SHIT.
And that means auditions.. in front of the conductor.. and getting humiliated in front of the whole choir.. all over again. That's what happened 2 years ago.. and I can never forget it. Seriously, my ego has gone down to negative, what more do they want? UGH.
4) Good academic results
Enough of spending time with my laptop for the holidays. I seriously have to cut down my time on the computer or else I'll seriously get addicted. And the fact that I'm suscribing to so many youtube channels that update almost everyday doens't help .__.
Aiming for a 3.2 or even higher this year. Not sure what to expect cox my science sucks.

Bangkok trip Part 2: Random stuff I did there.
1)Manicure and Pedicure
I did my manicure/pedicure on the last day of the trip! I don't know why my aunty let me do it although the price is the same as Singapore! Was really happy cox it's the first time that someone is actually painting my nails! Have been painting my own nails since primary school and it turned out pretty crappy because I don't bother with base coat and top coat. Waste of money plus I have to do with what I have. And I always buy the cheapo ones (Please I don't have money for OPI) so they fade in 4 days LOL.
My past nail art:
Looks legit anot? Quite proud of it cox I had to make use of toothpicks and a bobby pin since I didn't have professional nail tools. Had to painstakingly paint every flower :< Aiya, I'd rather pay a little extra for some nice nail art!

My floral nails! In case you didn't notice there's this 3D jewel thing in the middle of the roses! SO happy with it! They also filed my nails!My nails look short here wtf, cox we have to cut our nails short in school. IMO nail art should be allowed in school! Then can show off x)
Owl nails for my feet! I choose the design one! You know I have an obsession with owls! But my family says the owl looks like a dog wtf!
Removed the nail polish after 4 weeks and my nails look like that now:
Disgusting and yellow.
But I kind of love how long my nails are! Looks classier compared to the short nails I had last time!
2)Wat Arun Temple (Temple of Dawn)
We went to an ancient temple there. It's around $2 SGD for tourists per entry so it's quite cheap lah! Even if you're not interested in architectural rural-ish stuff(like me), it's still worth a visit cox it's quite fascinating. The temple has 3 levels and the steps are really steep! Being the badass I am(wtf), I went all the way up.

How I spent my Christmas
This year's Christmas was..meh, nothing much, just an ordinary day. Only had one simple dinner celebration at my Grandma's house.. Didn't receive much presents cox we don't really take Christmas as a big deal.
Was lazing around the whole day during christmas with my ipad. Was playing some karaoke games half of the day and then sleeping and then eating. Yesterday = totally wasted. :(
Anyway, the stuff are recieved are: Angbaos, a purse, some bath stuff and a pair of oxford wedges from new look <3
Btw, why would anyone send bath stuff to me? DO I STINK?!
I love the oxford wedges and I belive we were fated to meet lor! Seriously, there were only 3 pairs of them left and 2 were size 38! And my feet is size 38 so I believe that shoes were meant for me wtf. Aren't I lucky? Bought it for $29.95 and the usual price was $59.90! #Happygirl98
Plus, this pair of wedges are my very first pair of high heeled shoes. All my life, for the past 14 years I've being wearing flats so now with my wedges I can be taller ehehehe :> I'm 160cm in that wedges!
To be honest, I really didn't know what I wanted or Christmas. All of them were "wants" not "needs". ANd there wasn't anything that I desperately wanted. Maybe I would love a 3G plan but nah, not craving for it. So yay you can say I'm happy with my life ^_^ I'M NOT BEING SOUR GRAPES.
Just a confession, I feel kind of jealous when other people (my friends) get better presents than me. Don't you find it so unfair when you get better grades than your friends yet they get presents that are wayyy better than yours? I mean I have this feeling that they don't deserve it at all, given their GPA pfft. Like one girl got a 2.4 GPA and you know what she got? A FUCKING IPHONE 5. Maybe I'm being my selfish self but girl, how could you get an iphone5 with that kind of grades? Another of my classmates got 2.67 and she got a fifth generation itouch! If they can get those gifts, how bout me, a person who got a 3.2 GPA? I probably deserve more right lol. Ok I admit I'm kind of jealous just ignore me I'm not a bad person just ranting my feelings here.
I think I get very pissed/annoyed with this type of "deserving or not" things because I highly respect the value of "You reap what you sow" * Philosophical me strikes again * I feel that it's totally unfair if you work so much harder than other people and get so much better results and in the end they get something better than you! UGH. And the same thing strikes again when people who are supposed to be doing 7 subjects get into a class for 8 subjects. I can't stand people who don't work hard enough getting into the same position of people who worked extremely hard. You don't deserve to be there! It's the survival of the toughest. Yes, I'm aggressive when it comes to results, if you do badly, too bad. That's how it works for me. I JUST DON'T LIKE PEOPLE GETTING MORE THAN THEY DESERVE. Being very agitative now lol.

Spending my boxing day at the dentist later and then going for tuition fml. I haven't had enough rest from christmas and now there's tuition?! -_-

P O L Y V O R E :)
Recently got addicted to Polyvore ^_^ Stumbled across it while I was surfing the net and I'm glad I found this site!
Polyvore is a website where you can create your own outfits through selecting from the different categories. You also can do make-up/nail looks, actually if it's anything under beauty you can create i using polyvore! Gah, I hate explaining. Create an account and you'll see ;)
My proudest creation of all:
Not bad right :> I created it myself with some help from watching online tutorials. Does it look legit? Can publish on magazine anot. Lol.
Created another Taylor Swift outfit inspired by her casual outfits:
A bit more simpler, but I like the colours!

Bangkok: FOOD!
I'll be dividing my Bangkok trip into 3 parts:
1)Food
2)Tourist attractions I visited (Only one wtf) and other random stuff
3) Buys
Probably uploading my hauls a bit later cox there's really quite a lot!
So I'll say that there was really good food in Bangkok, there are many hidden restaurants that seem mediocre but you'll never know unless you actually try them. There are many streets that have restaurants near our hotel (Novotel@Siam square) so you may wanna check them out!
Gonna be blogging about our dinners cox for breakfast we ate buffet breakfast and for lunch we mostly ate at food courts with not-so-good food quality.
If you're on a budget:
For food in Bangkok, food court food is super cheap there so if you're on a budget you may wanna have your meals there. Most of the basic meals like chicken rice are $2.70++, even cheaper than most food courts in Sg. I swear, it's super cheap! But let me warn you, the food quality is kind of horrible. It's decent, not that terrible tasting but its food is..meh. I bought a Japanese curry-don meal and was expecting something good but in the end, the curry was disgusting and watery, not like the thick ones I ate before. Oh well, what can you expect for $2.70 leh?
Oh and you have to top-up your card (can be purchased there) with money so that the stall owners won't be so busy returning you change.
If you're rushing for time:
Eat fast food (duh.) There are many fast food outlets located. Prices are a bit cheaper than Singapore and start from $3 liddat.
If you don't belong to any of these two catagories above:
BE LIKE ME. Eat at restaurants. They are really nice :>

It's located right opposite Novotel@Siam Square. It looks old and shabby on the outside, but when you go inside it's different. Kimchi stew. We actaully overordered cox we thought it was a small portion...
And then here cane the ginormous pot. Just look at the teapot on the top left hand corner and you can compare how big-ass that is. Plus, it's super spicy and I was huffing and puffing (Wtf) at the first sip. We ended up only finishing half(there were 4 of us). But I still found it nice as a fan of spicy food ^_^ Just ask for it to be less spicy when you order it!
ORDER IT ONLY IF YOU LOVE CHILLI. Even someone like me who can finish a whole packet of chilli sauce when eating chicken rice teared cox it was too hot while eating it. Don't say I didn't warn you!

What's a Thai meal without a Coconut ^_^
Pandan chicken and Tomyam. Tomyam was a little bit too salty, but it was good. Pandan chicken was nice.
Pineapple rice. My absolute favourite dish evar! I'll always order pineapple rice when I eat Thai food. In case you didn't notice, it is served in a REAL pineapple. That mean's after you finish you can eat the pinaplle flesh lol.
Green curry. Average dish cox I don't ship green curry.
Seafood curry. Something like otah but squished up *_*
Some salad thingy.
The prices there were affordable, most of them were around $10. Service was good too, and there was live Thai traditional music, so it's a must visit place ^_^
Day 3 Dinner:
Japanese dinner at Siam Paragon. I forgot the shop's name -_-

2NE1 Concert
Went to the 2NE1 concert on 1 Dec ^_^
2NE1 is my favourite girl group! Ok I kind of like SNSD too but still .__. Used to hate them but now I fell in love with their songs! My bias is bommie cox she's freaking pretty and her vocals are really good!

Didn't manage to get any souveniers cox I only went at 6.15pm LOL. Erin the hardcore fan went at 12pm and queued 2 hours just to buy the merchandise *__* 非常佩服她！By the time I got there the only things left were stickers (That cost $10) and notebooks. WHY WOULD ANYONE PAY FREAKING $10 FOR A...STICKER?! Oh well at least I saved money (the shirt that I wanted to buy costs $30) and Erin collected some freebies for us earlier on ^_^ so it's okay!

CL was deejaying on this tall stand like a boss. SHE HAD A LOT OF SWAG. Can I slap myself I forgot I absolutely hate the word "swag".

Minzy :> Her dancing was superb!
BOMMIE. SHE STILL LOOKS CUTE WITH SHORT HAIR! AND I WANT HER LEGS. She performed Don't cry and You and I during her solo stage.
My fave moment: When Dara sang "Kiss"
Not a really big fan of Dara but I immediately fell in love with her when she sang her single. From her looks
I thought she was this very innocent and pure and demure girl but I was wrong wtf. She actually invited a male fan to do a dance for him.
She was giving a PG rated "lap dance" to him like sitting on his lap. And later he kissed him on his cheek :* aww. I was getting a little bit too excited and going "OMG" and "AWW" every 5 seconds. I mean, if I were the guy I'll probably would have gotten a boner even before she kissed me! >:) I swear she is so sexy and hawt! I should stop now I sound like a pervert :>

To be honest, after the concert I felt like I needed some brushing up on 2NE1 songs. Cox as you know all of them were in Korean so I only could sing along to some as I knew them by hard .__. For the rest of the songs I was just keeping quiet and waving my fan which could not be seen in the dark to cover up for my confusion. I couldn't sing along to Scream and Follow me and Please don't go cox I only heard these songs once or twice. Oh why oh why. *_* And I realised they are way more other hardcore blackjacks than me!
The only things about the concert I didn't look were:
1) The music was too loud.
Like seriously, halfway through the concert my ears were blocked (don't ask me why but it's probably due to the loud bass which was blasting)
2) The flashing lights which almost blinded me
Trust me, the lights were randomly flashing all around and it was kind of 刺眼
VERY BRIGHT LIGHT.
But overall, I loved the concert because there was so much energy and the atmosphere is totally there. No need to go to Korea anymore... cox I'm happy I finally saw my idols perform life. It's definitely different from watching Music bank on youtube. The fan chants kind of failed cox everyone was screaming, screaming so madly that I can't even hear my own voice.
They said they'll be definitely coming back to Singapore, and I hope they keep their promise!
To the organiser: Can you set tickets at a cheaper price next time, you're from Korea so the airfare will probably be less right? Not trying to compare but last year I went to a Taylor Swift concert and it only costs $108 which is half the price -_- I don't understand why we need to pay fucking $231. So pratically every minute there cost $1.50 OHMYTIAN. They could really keep the prices lower. Because I feel guilty for spending so much money -_-

How to get more likes on instagram.
Hey guise :)
Just got back from Bangkok and I'm back here in Singapore. Kind of miss Bangkok.. Will be blogging about it soon since I'm too lazy to connect the camera to the computer :P
So I finally found out how to get more likes on instagram! So happy wheeeee.
I have 141 followers on instagram but I'm struggling to get more than 10 likes. Pathetic right? Cox I think the photos of my life are too boring and no one gives a shit about them. By the way, I only post ORIGINAL pictures on my account, all of these photos are taken by me handphone camera, no tumblr quotes/posts. I mean if you want hipster/emo stuff, GO TO TUMBLR. Instagram is for personal stuff, thank you.
1) Get to know more about your followers
What do they like? What interests them? Most of my followers are schoolmates which are girls. Being girls, they like bimbotic stuff which are cute and pretty, so it's best to post those sort of stuff. Good ones will be like: Cute notebook covers, ootds (outfit of the day), cute nails, cute food (cookies, sweets), cute animals (pets), and cute girls (camwhore). Aiya basically everything nice! If you post some zombie picture it obviously won't get any likes cox it won't really interest your audience. If you really like zombies, you should just post them once a fortnight or something cox people will just get annoyed with your random spamming and unfollow you. JUST SAYING.
I think if you wanna get more likes, try to post things that YOU AND OTHERS can relate to.
If you don't bother about likes, just post the things YOU love. After all, it's your personal album, you can put whatever you like.
Real life example:
I posted this beautiful scenery of Bangkok
And got only 9 likes WTF. It's so pretty!!! Probably no one appreciates scenery:(
I posted a blurry picture of my nails:
Very bad quality picture. But I got 20 likes ^_^
Anything above 10 likes is good to me, if you wanna know what my standard is. Idk, my choir seniors just don't like my photos or smth. They hardly like them wtf. So redundant.
2)HASHTAGS!
Hashtags can attract people outside your followers. They get you noticed as some people are looking for a certain type of pictures.
A few hashtags can make a difference. MILLIONS of people are searching for hashags every second so who knows, you may get random people's likes if you picture is appealing to them.
I recommend you put a maximum of 5 hashtags if not it'll look too despo LOL.
Btw, why do people tag #instahub? What is that? I'm laggy.
TAG SMARTLY. Tag some stuff that people normally search for. For a picture like my nails above, I would put #nailart #pink #flower #cute. See? It's that easy! Tag simple words. Don't tag too long like #prettyflowernails #ilovemynails. Maybe you can if you want, but not recommended.
And one no-no that annoys me the most: TOO MANY FREAKIN HASHTAGS.
If you have more hashtags than likes, something is wrong .__.
I've seen people doing tags like:
#beach #water #bffs love #them #all #yay #happy

I mean I can understand the first 4 hashtags but what's with #them and #all? Makes no sense and absolutely redundant. No offence!
3)Get a nice picture (duh.)
This is the ultimate one. How do you expect people to like your picture if it isn't nice in the first place?
That's why I will never have the confidence to post a selca on my account. Cox I will just look like a retard in the sea of beauties out there and no one will like my photo. So embarrassing omg. If I had a pretty face I'll just post selcas like 1000 times a day :) I've seen my friends get 60 likes JUST FOR THEIR FACE.
Don't just post a picture of a sandwich or some crappything that isn't deserving of likes. Or even worse, post a picture of some unknown person that is not you. I don't mind pictures of Megan Fox on my timeline, but your cousin? Not interested.
What I would suggest is to maybe decorate it with stickers if you wanna make it more cute and pretty. You also can make it more interesting by putting different filters OTHER THAN those on instagram.
I recommend camera 360. Best variety of filters :)
And for selcas and ootds, if you're despo, EDIT/PHOTOSHOP IT. LOL. This is the best advice I can offer you.
For the face, cover all pimples, make your eyes look bigger and make your face thinner. See my guide to editing your face here
For your body, idk lah LOL. I never edit my ootds before -proud- Em best advice I can offer is make your waist smaller, make your butts and boobs bigger? Ok me and my shitty thoughts. Actually for ootds it's more about the clothes that you wear :) Personally I don't really care about your body as long as it's decent. The nice clothes will cover up for you. ^_^

This is just a guide that helped me to get likes, but I can't guarantee it will work on you cox it all depends on whether they all piece well together :)
And instagram is not about how many likes you get, it's also about sharing interesting stuff about your life that people will like ^_^
